New Constuction

Size: 34,000 Sq. Ft.
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Client: The City of San Antonio

The Andalusia is a 20-unit apartment project located in downtown San Antonio. The design is influenced by the traditional Spanish residence with such features as an interior courtyard surrounded by verandas and terraces. It uniquely fulfills a need for multi-family housing in the downtown area by providing apartments with both a presence on the street and an inner retreat for the residents.

The architectural image of the Community Centre inspired by Spanish colonial architecture incorporates colonnades, courtyards and small cloistered gardens. Envisioned in the primary courtyard is climbing wisteria, bougainvillea and water features encouraging a space for gatherings or solitary meditation.
