A striking characteristic of the original 2100 sf home was the use of glass that provided daylight and direct views of the naturalized yard and koi pond. With the renovations and additions, oversized glass openings continue to blur the line between the interior and the hill country landscape. Smaller windows on the north and south afford privacy from neighbors, provide ventilation and create controlled views. The master bath is clad in porcelain tile with a sunken shower, east facing glass, custom metal work and onyx countertop. The church has essentially two main entrances, one symbolic and formal, the other practical, used by most of the congregation due to its proximity to the parking area. All the furnishings and chandeliers were designed by the architects, using a minimum number of materials that include cherry wood, green marble and wrought iron. The sanctuary is topped by an oculus at the crossing that emits natural light from windows in the steeple above.
